A little known bill is came out of the Senate Banking committee of which Sen. Chris Dodd, Sen. Chuckie Schumer are members, the Bill titled The Livable Communities Act, S.1619 is a total power grab and an effort to control people based on supposed environmental responsibility and concentration of people into smaller areas. Please Read the bill (it is not the 2500 page monster health bill) and contact your representatives ASAP. They have this on a FAST TRACK.

Of note, of which I do not like saying is that George H Bush signed onto the UN Resolution version, Agenda 21. Very upsetting.

Taxes

One of the current debates taking place is the issue of taxes. Extending the Bush tax cuts would be beneficial to everyone, poor, wealthy and in between. Likewise, if they are not extended they will effect everyone, wealthy and poor alike. The cycle of the tax dollar begins when goods or services are produced by a business. A business is in business to provide services or goods for a profit.... CAPITALISM. A business needs workers to produce goods or services for which they are paid, Income. The company and employees are TAXED by govts. These workers spend their income for goods and services creating need for more workers etc... thus more taxes expanding the tax base. Some people state that only middle and lower class should retain the Bush tax cuts and businesses shouldnt get the tax cuts because "they can afford it". Well excuse me, who makes those jobs so there are even middle and lower classes? Why would it be right for anyone to determine how much money a business can retain for themselves after taxes?? The business owners risk a lot and sometimes everything! What do employees risk?? Have they mortgaged their houses to pay the wages and benefits of employees? I dont think so. So lets apply their thinking to themselves.... If they go to work for a business, everyone should make the same regardless of how much harder they work than someone else.

A flat tax would be a better option or a national sales tax IN PLACE of what we have today, not in addition to. This would be "FAIR" but then everyone would pay and the brainwashed, dumbed down idiots would not like that. What they are attempting to do is to effectively eliminate the middle class thus giving power and money to all govts.

Enuf said, this is definitely rambling. My apologies,It has been too long since Ive written on my blog.

Own Your Future

Interesting mail today. I received a mailing from the Office of The Governor, State of Iowa. This mailing is a new initiative called "Own Your Future". This is an initiative by the Federal Govt and State of Iowa. The purpose of this initiative is to encourage people between the ages of 45 & 65 to begin planning for their long-term care. They offer a free kit that can be ordered, called a Long Term Care Planning Kit, which was created by the US Dept of Health & Human Services.

I checked this out and basically it seems be all good but of course there is the end of life discussions. Surprise. Is this the new watered down version of the VA Booklet that the DHS has been giving to our Veterans? I am not a veteran so it seems this is going public.

It is disgusting the way this admin is and has been treating our veterans. The veterans know more about hard work and sacrifice than any of those thugs and thieves in DC.

Just thought I would share my interesting mail today. If you are able to find out any more info about this, like, is this every state doing this or just Iowa, let me know.

Voting Rights to ex-felons?

Time for some ramblings.... Just browsing some legislation that has been introduced and came across H.R. 59- Ex-Offenders Voting Rights Act of 2009, introduced by none other than the infamous Sheila Jackson Lee with co-sponsors William Clay, Danny Davis, and Alcee Hastings.

Basically requires a correctional officer inform a convicted felon within 30 days after release from jail. I guess the democrats are looking for new voters. I thought if a person was a convicted felon they lost all rights. But as it is, they get their gyms, healthcare, cable, phone, computer and education all at the taxpayers expense most likely after we pay for their attorneys and court costs to put them behind bars. Additionally, this bill grants the Federal Gov't authority over the states. It specifically prohibits "a state from enacting any state law that affords the right to vote in any election for federal office on terms less restrictive than those terms established by this Act". There goes yet another states' rights issue. Currently, the bill is in House Committee on the Judiciary. Members of this committee include Rep. John Conyers, Rep Lamar Smith, Rep Tammy Baldwin, Rep Howard Berman.

There are 435 house seats up for re-election in 2010. We need to clean house so to speak. There are at least 34 Senate seats. Additionally, Joe Biden's senate seat up for grab since the appointed Senator to fill in for him is not running.

House Votes to Give FDA Greater Powers
Yet another bill that would give the Food and Drug Administration new powers over our food supply has been introduced and passed in the House of Representatives. This new bill, known as the Food Safety Enhancement Act of 2009 (H.R. 2749), was passed on July 30 by a vote of 283-142.

H.R. 2749 is just one of several bills in Congress that would expand the powers of the FDA. What are the differences between one bill and another? Anyone's guess is as good as another! This bill, like many others, was literally rushed through the voting process leaving House members little-to-no time to read, debate, or offer any significant amendments on the legislation.

A recent blog post on JBS.org stated, "One version [of H.R. 2749] was introduced at 12:15 a.m., one at 9:36 a.m., and 10:50 a.m. on Wednesday morning. By Thursday the bill was again on the table, this time with the option that representatives could offer amendments. One was offered. No action was taken on it, which leaves the question, again, how many representatives voting on this stealth bill actually read it."

Much like the previously reported H.R. 875, or other legislation that would further federalize our food supply, H.R. 2749 would threaten the livelihood of small farms and other food producers by placing costly and burdensome restrictions on the companies and potentially forcing them out of business.

Opponents of the bill argue that small farmers and local vendors would be held to the same standards of multinational companies. This would place heavy restrictions on anyone hoping to sell their products to consumers who frequent farmer's markets, fruit stands or other venues of that nature.

Use The John Birch Society's legislation alert system to write your Senators and urge them to oppose H.R. 2749 and any other legislation that would centralize our food system.

These past couple of weeks we have seen the US Govt, ie Owe Bama, use Federal Resources to target private citizens because of their dissension of Owe Bama politics, Owe Bama using Federal Programs to collect info, take control of privately owned computers, and our Senators snubbing We the People, because we are sick & tired of their thievery, their lies, and their greed for power and somehow can not believe WE THE PEOPLE are standing up! Outrageous. It is like they are deliberately poking their fingers in our eyes to outrage us just a little bit more and a little bit more. They want us dissenters to do something stupid so they can declare martial law and take away weapons. I personally am in disbelief this is happening to our country right before our eyes, it sickens me and worries me for what is to come for this country and our people.

The media is complicit in the socialist, marxist takeover of this country and as such should be held responsible. We should boycott the media sources who are not being truthful and call them and let them know, You are a real person, who is not bought & paid for (like ACORN, SEIU, and the Dem. Party)

It is interesting to note that our representatives cant take the heat then they shouldnt be representing us. I am assuming they can not handle being outside the beltway and seeing actual real human beings not other political cronies and they have been office too long, time for them to come home and face the music. It is truly amazing what these dimwits are doing. Granted there could be some good legislation going on, hard to find. If you like the bills being introduced call your congressman and give him/her support. Otherwise, if you don't like what is in the bill please contact your representatives and spread the word around.

We have to watch everything "those people" do and get the word out. This is truly the only way to effect change. It wont be immediate but I can bet that the representatives are freaking out a little bit with the pressure we have put on them so far.

So that brings us 9/12. On 9/12 there is going to be a large rally in Washington DC, for lovers of this country and defenders of the constitution. Left, right, in between or what have you. Feeling somewhat overwhelmed but not defeated. This health care fiasco is just that a fiasco. We must as a nation, with one voice, tell our govt, N-O, NO (something you have to do to kids now and then). We do not want the govt messing with our health care, our taxes, or our GUNS!! They seem to be trying to push people to the brink of reacting so they would have yet another emergency and would declare martial law, and then look out.

There has to be a way to legally remove this yahoo and all of his CZARS from power. I am wondering if there is anything in the constitution that addresses this. I am also wondering why he wants everything in the white house? I believe Rush said today POTUS moved some office of the FBI to the Whitehouse, the one that does background checks etc.... For sure I am rambling, just too many thoughts.

Anyway, I for one demand that the long form birth certificate be located and verified. What will happen if Obama is not eligible to be president? Can we put him in jail and would we? Does that mean Joe Biden would be president? I figure if we kept him drunk he couldn't do anything till we could get a conservative in office. Just kidding.

While noodling the numbers of wanna-be's socialists and socialists, I was doing some research and came across some amazing information. Actual names of people in the Progressive Caucus, a self-proclaimed organization of members of congress, yes the congress of the United States of America, and I would say most of them are of course Democrats. Pelosi, Sherrod Brown to name a couple.

I never could understand why anyone who loves this country with our hard fought beginnings, the blood of many soldiers who defended this country would be a socialist. I just cant wrap my head around that. And the worst of all, these people claim to be members of a socialist party ie: the Progressive Caucus, so they can not feign ignorance.

In 2005 they drew up a document called, The Progressive Promise which lists freely their agenda, freely and openly. While reading it, I realized, this is happening right now, and they are marching forward with their agenda. Please take time to read this by clicking on the associated link. It will blow your mind. Print a couple and pass them on to your friends who think progressives are just democrats. They ARE NOT! They are socialist on a mission of remaking America (Where have we heard that before?)

OK EVERYONE, I GUESS WHILE WE CONTINUE TO BATTLE AGAINST CAP & TRADE THE ISSUE OF HEALTH CARE WILL BE COMING UP.....SO SOME OF MY RAMBLINGS....OR FOOD FOR THOUGHT.

NO ONE IN THE USA IS DENIED ACCESS TO HEALTH CARE, EVEN ILLEGALS.
AS OF NOW, EMPLOYEES DO NOT PAY TAX ON EMPLOYER PROVIDED HEALTH INSURANCE AND COMPANIES ARE ABLE TO WRITE THE EXPENSES OFF. OBAMA CARE WILL MANDATE, WE BE TAXED ON THE VALUE OF THE INSURANCE PROVIDED AND EMPLOYERS WILL LOSE THIS DEDUCTION. WHY WOULD EMPLOYERS CONTINUE TO PROVIDE HEALTH INSURANCE? THIS WOULD THEN FORCE EMPLOYEES TO FIND ALTERNATIVE HEALTH INSURANCE AND MOST LIKELY THE GOVT SOCIALIZED HEALTH CARE AND THE PRIVATE INSURANCE COMPANIES WOULD GO OUT BUSINESS.

MEDICARE AND MEDICAID IS WROUGHT WITH FRAUD AND CORRUPTION. IF THEY ACTUALLY SPENT THE TIME WEEDING OUT THE FRAUDS, THERE MIGHT ACTUALLY BE SOME MONEY IN THERE. HOWEVER, THE PEOPLE WHO SEE THE FRAUD FIRST HAND, HEALTH CARE WORKERS, HAVE THEIR HANDS TIED BY HIPPA. WE ARE NOT ABLE TO REPORT MEDICAID FRAUD SUCH AS LIVING IN ONE STATE AND COLLECTING MEDICAID FROM ANOTHER OR MAYBE EVEN BOTH. THE GOVERNMENT BODY IS NOT CAPABLE OR WILLING TO MANAGE THESE PROGRAMS. IT IS TOO POLITICAL AND THEY WANT TO KEEP THEIR POWER.

Unbelievable, this Cap & Trade bill passed by 7 votes. Eight of those votes were from supposed republicans. This bill could have been defeated but I think Obama and his thugs, cronies got to them with promises of $ or positions of power or who knows what. We need to call and write the senate when they come back from their precious vacation for their votes on the cap and trade bill. It is time to let these 8 republicans know WE THE PEOPLE are fed up and they will be booted from office. I am confident that their phones were jammed yesterday and yet they still voted for Cap & Trade. I believe the only way they will listen to their constituents will be to vote them out of office. US CENSUS-ACORN INVOLVEMENT

In the news today, It is interesting to note Rep. Michele Bachmann refuses to answer all questions on census. She states she is only required by law to answer how many people are in the household. However, a spokesman from the US census states Rep. Bachmann is misreading the law. The US census bureau did not point to one point of the law specifically except to try and intimidate with the threat of $5,000 fine. Please explain in detail, don't threaten. I think they are the misguided ones.

I'm thinking, if we answer or not, the ACORN nuts will make up answers or once they are done with the census they will twist and turn it to make it be WHAT THEY WANT. I believe ACORN involvement is highly likely, aren't they already involved in everything now? I am wondering how far and wide their tentacles go in our government already besides Obama. The people of this country need to unite and organize against the misuse of powers by this administration. I am afraid if we don't, we will become one big happy socialist ACORN nation.
